I am sure that you are aware of the fact that Google has been slapping the sites of people that are proudly sposoring pay per post. This is bing done by PR which some deflated.jpgpeople are finding to be a big fat 0 when they check their sites the next day. Now you may see the fact that John Chow displays it on his blog, but what in the world would any small blogger be doing displaying that thing that tells people what they will write a post for a certain cost of. Before it was ok but now it is not.

If you have a link on your site of Pay Per Post and you got the Google slap, You deserved it if you have been reading about what Google has been doing to people and you did nothing about it. The fact of the matter is, People know what they shouldn’t put on their blog anymore. Its follow links and banners of stuff that can get them in trouble. So be careful about what you proudly display and put a no follow on that stuff. You can’t afford to be like John Chow. He has a huge following, so he doesn’t need Google. If you don’t have a huge following then you do need Google, especially to gain some ground in search engines and whatever other advantage you can get. If you don’t you might find that when you check your blog the next morning your PR has been deflated. If you can live with it and don’t care, then by all means.
