What is MadKast? It is a widget which allows your readers to easily share your posts or articles with other readers. Recently I downloaded and installed the widget to test it out and tell you whether it’s worth having on your blog.

As you can see there is a small icon next to the title of my post which you can easily click on and send this article or any other on my blog to a friend. The nice part is the options you have with this widget. You can use it to send an email to the link of the article or you can send a text to a friend.

As usual there is the ability to use digg, stumble etc.., however while this little tool may seem very unobtrusive on a blog, I don’t believe it will get the attention needed from readers unless it catches on with others on the internet. For that only time will tell since it is new.

Overall I give this Madkast tool a good review as it is a great idea to give readers more options to share your articles, but it may not be as useful to cellphone users because most people don’t usually text friends with articles on the web.
