metacafe_logo.gifAfter taking a look at how much money some have made in only a short time on meta cafe I decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you a little about how it works, and how if your witty or have something interesting to create and put up you can make some serious coin.

Metacafe is a video site that allows you to upload videos regularly or those you have personally made and get paid for those. How it works is that you get 5 dollars for every 1,000 views of your video. Once your video reaches 20,000 views you can get paid. Do the math on that. Thats 100 bucks. Now I’m pretty sure your thinking, my website barely gets any page views ao how am I supposed to get a video to get that many views? It’s not as hard as you think.

Keep in mind that people are just out there looking at new videos all the time. If your video is good, the established site will do the rest for you. Now heres a good idea you might consider. Think about all the friends you are making or have made through social networking. Point them over to view your videos on Metacafe. Use all the implementations you are using to get traffic to your blog now, and if you have an interesting video I can almost guarantee you it will be easier to make some cash on that rather than trying to get people to your blog to convert.

The reason I say it will be easier is because people like to be entertained, and videos are as entertaining as it gets on the internet, so its really not going to be hard. Now another cool thing is that people can subscribe to your video feed. If you can get subscribers, thats video views in the bag from the get go with each new video. So if you think of a great video you have made or that you have put already on Youtube, why not take it off of there and put it on Metacafe and see how it does?
