I am adding an xplosive reloaded theme for adsense that I really like. I have taken a few things out thanks to Court’s recommendation as it only causes people to have other things to click on the site.
If you have been reading Vics posts you will see that he points that fact out. Don’t add a bunch of crap on your sites with adsense. You want people to leave your site through an adsense click. You have the other images to replace the header if you like as well if you don’t like that coin in the top left.
The title is optimized. All you need to do is open the header.php and put your keywords in the H1 tag. I have also incorporated adsense into this theme, so its very easy to place them in the right place. I use this theme on my blogs and get over 15% CTR with adsense because of this color combination, so I do not recommend you change it. I have it set up for you in 2 files. adstop.php and adleft.php. That means all you have to do is open up those 2 pages and just put your adsense code where I have xxxxxxxx. This will put your ads inline the post and right above the title.
I also recommend using the All in one SEO plugin, which this theme is set up for. I think thats about it folks, so Download the theme and enjoy it.

I know everyone is focused on pagerank and the Google slap for text link sellers, thats why I wanted to turn the focus just a bit on Search Engine Rankings. As I mentioned before my focus was on at least 2 combinations of keywords and a possible third that I won’t be discussing here for Google Ranking.
The keywords I will focus on is hosting tips and blogging tips. Now while these are not my primary focus of getting traffic they are a secondary and great compliment to the first which is social networking. What I will be showing you in brief today is my rankings for these keywords after a month and a half of writing on this blog with very little if any link building. So here are the results.

As these are tracked, one month from now I will make a similar post and compare the standings then. For now keep in mind this blog has been here now for about 1 month and a half with very little marketing. Now I will up the amount of marketing as well as variety of posts on this blog and we will then see if there is any sizable difference in 1 month for not only these terms but also the amount of readers of my feed and the rankings for other terms as well. I will then give you a detailed report and if successful, show you all the methods used to make it happen.

This post is in consideration of the recent events surrounding pagerank drop of all the major sites out there that use advertising on their website as a means to make money, as well as all the Link directories that have suffered a hard hit under the hand of the Google fist.
People everywhere are frustrated with what has happened to their pagerank. Google just decides that those who sell text ads on their website will be penalized with lowered pagerank. Will you be affected by this? Most likely not if you are small site. What will you do? Absolutely nothing. Keep in mind that pagerank is worthless and has no value with what Google is using it for. It really doesn’t give any real value to your site like most people used to think it did.
Your game plan should be all about marketing? Social marketing is the newest key for site and blog survival. Think about it. In the end what is most important, pagerank or the amount of visitors that you get to your website or blog? Is it not the amount of people that come to your blog? This should be your main focus as it is mine. I don’t care with the next update what that number at the top of the screen really is. it has no bearing on the visitors that come to my site. With all this in mind I have made a very short list of the priorities we should all have when making a site.
I hope you enjoyed this post. There are more Tech tips, blogging tips and hosting tips on the way. Stay tuned!
