Anticipate what will become popular
Darren from Problogger had a recent video in which He related finding a niche for your blog. One thing that really stuck out to me in that video was the fact that he mentioned not only the importance of the niche, but also the importance of anticipating what your readers will be searching for in google.
This is helpful because keywords can be strategically placed in your blog if you can anticipate what subject will be searched about in the near future.
How can you anticipate what to write about? It’s always good to get a head start on possible releases of not only software that will be coming out in the future to speak about in your blog but also events in the world or in a general area which get much attention when they arise at a future date.
For many this may take some serious effort and reading on your part to be in the know. A lot of times it can be just good to take a step back and think of what might grow to become something. Entice your readers to leave a comment by asking a question. This will then help to gain the attention of readers for future posts on your blog and get them more involved.
